  1. About this Agreement

We are Lucinda Green XC Academy Ltd incorporated in England and Wales under company registration number 12941549. Our registered office is at Tweseldown Racecourse, Bourley Rd, Fleet, Hants, GU52 8AD.

These Terms and Conditions form a legal agreement between The Lucinda Green XC Academy (“the Academy”, “we”, “us”) and you (“the Affiliate”, “you”). They govern your participation in The Lucinda Green XC Academy Affiliate Programme (“the Programme”) across all current and future Academy products, including but not limited to memberships, bootcamps, masterminds, workshops, challenges, and premium programmes (each, a “Product”).

By applying to join the Programme, ticking the acceptance box on the application form, or promoting any Academy Product using a unique affiliate link issued to you, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you cannot participate in the Programme.

  1. Eligibility

To join the Programme you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over.
  • Have an active PayPal account in your own legal name.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information on your application.
  • Hold any social media accounts, websites, or mailing lists used to promote the Academy in good standing with their respective platforms.
  • Not be a current employee, contractor, or immediate family member of the Academy, unless we have given written permission.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or revoke any affiliate application at our sole discretion.

  1. How the Programme Works

Once your application is approved, you will receive a unique affiliate link. When a new customer purchases an eligible Academy Product through your link, the sale is tracked to your account in our affiliate platform.

Eligible Products

Each Academy Product is enrolled into the Programme individually. The list of eligible Products, together with the commission rate for each, is published on the affiliate portal and may be updated from time to time. Only Products listed as eligible at the time of purchase will earn commission.

Cookie tracking window

Your affiliate link uses a 30-day cookie. If a customer clicks your link and completes their purchase within 30 days using the same browser and device, the sale is attributed to you.

Last-click attribution

If a customer clicks more than one affiliate’s link before purchasing, the most recent click wins. We use last-click attribution across the Programme.

Self-referrals

You may not use your own affiliate link to purchase any Academy Product for yourself or anyone in your household. Self-referrals will not be paid and may result in removal from the Programme.

4. Links to third party websites

Commission rate

Commission rates are set on a per-Product basis and are published on the affiliate portal. Each Product’s rate may be expressed as a fixed amount per qualifying sale (for example, a set sum in GBP) or as a percentage of the customer’s purchase price.

The rate that applies to a sale is the rate published at the moment the customer completes their purchase. We may change commission rates for future sales at any time, but changes will not affect commission already earned on completed qualifying sales.

There is no cap on the commission you can earn.

What counts as a qualifying sale

A “qualifying sale” means a sale where the customer:

  • Purchases an eligible Academy Product through your unique affiliate link.
  • Completes payment in full at the published price (or at any agreed promotional price for which commission has been confirmed in writing).
  • Remains enrolled or active for the full duration of that Product’s refund window without requesting a refund or initiating a chargeback.

What does not qualify

  • Sales that are refunded, charged back, or cancelled before the end of the applicable refund window.
  • Sales made using your own affiliate link to purchase for yourself or your household.
  • Sales made using a discount code, voucher, or coupon not officially issued to you in writing by the Academy.
  • Sales of Products that are not enrolled in the Programme at the time of purchase.
  • Sales attributed to another affiliate under our last-click attribution policy.
  • Sales generated through prohibited promotional methods (see Section 6).
  • Renewals of subscription or recurring Products, unless the affiliate portal expressly states that renewals earn commission for that Product.

5. Payment Terms

When you get paid

Commission for a qualifying sale becomes payable once the applicable refund window for that Product has closed and the sale has not been refunded or charged back. Payments are processed in the next monthly pay run.

In practice, for most Academy Products this means commission is paid between 30 and 45 days after the original purchase date. Some Products may carry a longer refund window, which will be stated clearly on the affiliate portal alongside the commission rate.

How you get paid

All commission is paid in GBP via PayPal. You must provide and maintain a valid PayPal email address on your affiliate profile. We are not responsible for failed, delayed, or returned payments caused by incorrect PayPal details, account suspensions, or restrictions on your PayPal account.

Minimum payout threshold

There is no minimum payout threshold. If you have at least one qualifying commission in a given month, you will be paid in that month’s pay run.

Currency, fees, and tax

Payments are sent in GBP. PayPal currency conversion fees, withdrawal fees, or any local taxes or bank charges are your responsibility. You are solely responsible for declaring affiliate commission as income and paying any tax due in your country of residence. The Academy will not withhold tax on your behalf and is not your employer.

6. Promotion Rules

As an affiliate, you represent the Academy and Lucinda Green. You must promote our Products honestly and in line with the standards below.

You may

  • Share your affiliate link on your own social media, blog, podcast, mailing list, or website.
  • Recommend Academy Products to your students, riders, friends, and followers based on your genuine experience.
  • Use Academy-supplied promotional images, graphics, copy, and videos provided through the affiliate portal.
  • Disclose your affiliate relationship clearly, in line with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines and any equivalent rules in your country.

You may not

  • Run paid advertising on the Academy’s brand terms, including “Lucinda Green”, “Lucinda Green XC Academy”, “Greenprint”, “Ready4Trouble”, “R4T”, or any of our Product names or close variations, on Google, Meta, YouTube, or any other paid platform.
  • Bid on Academy brand terms or Product names in search engine advertising.
  • Build websites or social media profiles that imitate, copy, or could reasonably be confused with the Academy’s own.
  • Use the Academy logo or Lucinda Green’s name, image, or likeness outside the assets provided to you, without written permission.
  • Make false, misleading, or unverified claims about any Academy Product, its results, or Lucinda’s involvement.
  • Promise outcomes the Academy has not promised, including specific competition results, qualifications, or guarantees.
  • Spam in any form, including unsolicited bulk email, comment spam, DM spam, or posting your link in groups where promotion is not permitted.
  • Use your affiliate link on coupon or cashback sites without our prior written permission.
  • Promote any Academy Product alongside content that is offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or that promotes harm to horses, riders, or any other animal or person.

Breach of any rule above can result in unpaid commission being forfeited, removal from the Programme, and, in serious cases, legal action.

7. Use of Brand Assets

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Academy logos, images, copy, and videos provided to you through the affiliate portal, solely for the purpose of promoting eligible Academy Products under these Terms.

You must not modify the logo, change brand colours, crop Lucinda Green out of provided imagery, or apply filters or effects that distort the brand. All goodwill in the Academy’s trade marks remains with the Academy.

8. Refunds and Chargebacks

If a customer requests a refund within the applicable refund period for the Product they purchased, or initiates a chargeback at any time, the associated affiliate commission is void.

If commission has already been paid to you on a sale that is later refunded or charged back, we may deduct the equivalent amount from your next pay run, or invoice you for the amount if no future commission is owed.

9. Term and Termination

This agreement begins when your affiliate application is approved and continues until terminated by either party.

Termination by you

You may leave the Programme at any time by emailing us at the address in Section 15. Any qualifying commission already earned at the point of termination will still be paid in line with Section 5.

Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your participation, withhold pending commission, and reclaim paid commission if you:

  • Breach any of these Terms.
  • Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or harmful behaviour.
  • Damage the reputation of the Academy, Lucinda Green, or any of our staff, members, or partners.
  • Become inactive for 12 consecutive months with no qualifying sales.

On termination, your affiliate link will be deactivated and your licence to use brand assets ends immediately.

Programme changes and closure

We may add, remove, or change which Products are enrolled in the Programme at any time. We may also pause or close the Programme as a whole, giving active affiliates reasonable notice by email. Commission already earned on qualifying sales at the point of any change will still be paid in line with Section 5.

10. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any non-public information shared with you as part of the Programme, including sales data, commission rates beyond what is published, internal pricing, marketing plans, customer lists, and unreleased Academy Products.

11. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or franchise relationship between you and the Academy. You may not enter into contracts, make commitments, or incur expenses on behalf of the Academy.

12. Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy’s total liability to you under or in connection with the Programme is limited to the total commission paid to you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Academy, its directors, employees, and contractors against any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your promotion of any Academy Product, or your use of brand assets.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Data Protection

We will process your personal data, including your name, email, and PayPal email, for the purpose of running the Programme, paying commission, and meeting our legal obligations. Our full Privacy Notice is available on our website and applies to all data we collect under this Programme.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active affiliates of any material change by email and post the updated version on the affiliate portal at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued participation in the Programme after the change date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Acceptance

By ticking the acceptance box on the application form, or by sharing your unique affiliate link, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms.
  • You agree to be bound by them.
  • All information you have provided is accurate.
  • Your PayPal email is correct and active.
